Casey's parents and sister came for a visit last week. They all had a great time in NYC for a couple of days.....
(here we are checking out Battery Park/Statue of Liberty and the Financial District & Dinner at Cafe Mogador)
.....and then headed out to The Poconos, Lake Harmony, for the weekend.
We hope they'll come back soon!
We're back...and with a new(ish) addition!
I have been delinquent in blogging this past year. But I am happy to have started posting again. At the moment we do not have a fish named popcorn. We are planning to get a new one soon. We do, however, have a baby boy named Jack. He is 9 months old and awesome! Hope you enjoy keeping up with our adventures.
Love,
-Casey

Casey's Cousins Stop By
Yesterday Michael Young (Casey's Cousin) & Seth (his youngest son) stopped by NYC while driving from Boston back to their house in Washington D.C. They all met up and went to the Shake Shack in Madison Square Park for ice cream.
Casey hopes they'll come back soon and bring Angela (Michael's wife), Tristan, & Gabe (their other sons) with them!

Lunch with the Zierden ladies
Meet Caroline Couch!
Ms. Caroline (daughter of Cory & Betsy Couch) was born just after our wedding. Plans between Betsy & Cory and Casey had not worked out so that we were in town at the same time. But, when Casey was in Tallahassee to surprise her Mom she went by to meet her. Caroline is so precious! Betsy is doing very well. Good to see them both!

Surprise!
Casey went to Tallahassee (FL) to surprise her Mom last week. It was her birthday! (A very important one, but we're not allowed to say. Mom was referring to it as her _ _, as in "blank blank!") Hanging out with Mom, Dad, and Lauren was great. They also had a birthday dinner with guests including Grandma, Cousin Bobby, The Kumar's, Annie & Hughey, several neighbors, Rose, and Angela and Libby . Libby Allen also stopped by.
Happy Birthday Mom!
Weekend fun
Last weekend we got rained out of our plans to go to the beach again. But, met up with Anna & Josh Saxton at the Frying Pan that night. Daniel Flax was in town and joined us. Great seeing him! Ends up we sort of got rained out of those plans, as well. But it was still a very nice time.
Sunday the sun was out & we headed to Central Park for a picnic and to enjoy the sunshine. We also met up with David & Jessi at the Summer Concert Series. Fun!
