For Christmas Casey & Duncan asked Santa (also known as both sets of parents) for winter hiking gear- stabilicers, poles, and leg gaiters to keep out the snow. On Valentine's day they joined a local chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club on a hike in the southern part of Harriman State Park. Conveniently it snowed just a few days before the hike and made for gorgeous scenery. It was such a nice day!
We're back...and with a new(ish) addition!
I have been delinquent in blogging this past year. But I am happy to have started posting again. At the moment we do not have a fish named popcorn. We are planning to get a new one soon. We do, however, have a baby boy named Jack. He is 9 months old and awesome! Hope you enjoy keeping up with our adventures.
Love,
-Casey

Casey & Lauren's trip to Germany & Prague, Czech Republic
Casey's sister, Lauren, had never been to Europe. So what a better reason to go than to celebrate a college graduation? Casey wanted to share some of the places she had been in college (Munich, Germany and Prague, Czech Republic). Their schedules didn't allow them to go until winter, but they didn't care! All bundled up they enjoyed the week. It was an amazing time!!

Boonedoggle 2009
The annual "Boonedoggle" holiday reunion of Dartmouth friends was a great time.
As tradition, everyone went to dinner on Friday night at La Mela in Little Italy.
Afterwards they all stopped by the Sopranos bar (it's called that because no one knows the name of the place, but they shot several scenes of the TV show there) for some karaoke.
Saturday night Casey & Duncan went over to the Grafs for some tree trimming with Libby's brother and Elizabeth and Arnold Song; who were visiting from Rhode Island.
The gang hopped in a cab (miracle that one was available due to the snow storm) down to Lee & Jael's apartment in the Lower East Side. There was a new attendee this year- Max! He is the first of the next generation.
