We're back...and with a new(ish) addition!

I have been delinquent in blogging this past year. But I am happy to have started posting again. At the moment we do not have a fish named popcorn. We are planning to get a new one soon. We do, however, have a baby boy named Jack. He is 9 months old and awesome! Hope you enjoy keeping up with our adventures.
Love,
-Casey

Welcome Ford!

It's a .... boy! Patty & Craig had Robert Ford (they call him Ford) a couple of weeks ago. Everyone is doing well. Can't wait to get down to Chattanooga to meet him!

Shakespeare in the park 6/13/09

Every summer the Public Theater puts on 2 of Shakespeare's plays outside in Central Park. Famous actors & actresses are always in the cast. This year they did 12th night and Ann Hathaway was the lead! Casey & Duncan had planned to go for a very long time. Unfortunately, NYC is having a historically rainy June. Their picnic was slightly soggy and the show had to "pause for precipitation" once, but then the skies cleared and it was great!

Welcome Evan!

Evan Lamar Lausch was born Wed. night--8lbs 4oz.-all (mother, father, son) are doing great! Evan is the first child of Duncan's cousin (Susie's oldest daughter) Jessica and her husband Chris. Welcome to the world, Evan! We hope to meet you soon.

Planting Fields in Long Island

The Simmonses boarded the LIRR last weekend and spent Sunday with Susie and Denis. They took them to the Planting Fields for lunch and a walk through the gorgeous gardens and trails. The weather was very overcast at first, but then completely turned around!

Farewell dinner for Anna

One of Casey's Junior League buddies, Anna Saxton, moved with her husband to D.C. Some of the ladies went out to dinner at Stanton Social, followed by a drink at Thor bar, before she left. It was a nice evening... we miss her!

Bobby & Monique's wedding in Ft. Lauderdale

Monique and Bobby got married in Ft. Lauderdale 5/30/09. The Rehearsal dinner was held at Riverside Hotel and included some Mardi Gras theme (Monique is from New Orleans).

On Saturday the Pisciottos and Zirkelbachs came down to play in the pool. It was really fun!
The wedding was at the Methodist church downtown followed by a reception at Bahia Mar.

Afterwards Duncan & Casey couldn't resist going to an old favorite spot, Bahia Cabana- even if they were a little over dressed!

Seattle friends visit for Memorial Day weekend

Dan & Brooke and Janet came to visit from Seattle for Memorial Day weekend. Janet's boyfriend, Ryan, moved to NYC from Seattle about a year ago so it was also a nice reunion for them. The crew did a lot of sightseeing and hitting up some hot spot restaurants. It was great to see them!

Tea for Meg's 30th Birthday!

Casey missed Meg's 30th birthday :(... so they celebrated with afternoon tea at the Mandarin. It was very fun & yummy with great views on a gorgeous spring day. Afterwards they went to a nearby rooftop bar for a cocktail.

Happy Birthday Meg!

Visit from Sara Walters

Sara came in town from Ft. Lauderdale. She & Casey went to dinner at Cafe Mogador.

Welcome Blaine & Tanner Goodwin!

Stephanie (Maher) & Wes Goodwin welcomed their 2nd children- twins!- into the world. Their names are Blaine & Tanner. Can't wait to meet them!

Mark & Molly's wedding

Mark Woodard and Molly Crockett got married mid May. Casey & Duncan went up to Rhode Island for the celebration. The wedding was at a lake resort.
They all had fun relaxing, sitting by the campfire, playing croquette (Casey won!), and dancing at the wedding. It was a great time with a wonderful couple!

Killers concert

The Simmonses love The Killers! They saw them for the first time outside of Philadelphia, PA. It was a great show! They stayed over for Liberty Bell sightseeing & phillycheese steak lunch the next day.
